The sign for PENTECOST consists of three parts. (i) First the sign for JESUS is made. One hand takes the shape of loosely open 5 with palm facing sideways whilst the other hand takes the shape of 5 with the middle finger jutting out. This finger hits the middle of the palm of the first hand. This is repeated, reversing the roles of the hands. (ii) In the second part the sign for RISE FROM THE DEAD is made with both hands in the shape of closed 5 placed at the sides with palm facing upwards. The hands then move upwards to above head level. (iii) Finally the sign for 50 is made. One hand takes the shape of 5 and quickly changes into the 0 handshape.
